Three ambitious filmmakers trying to write a heist film, but a waitress convinces them to rob a coffee shop instead. The story is about collaboration and filmmaking in general. How we work together and are sometimes unable to; and how, as filmmakers, we are constantly inspired by and drawing from films from the past to create our own work.
A Heist Film has been awarded 'Best Editing’ at the Royal Television Society Student Awards 2023 and nominated for ‘Best Entertaining and Comedy Drama’. In addition, the University of Greenwich awarded A Heist Film 'Best Film 2022' and 'Best Editing 2022' (sponsored by ENVY Post Production).
